Using the unique, patented CatScapes hinge-brackets, the shelves can be arranged and intersect in any order, at any angle. Kits can be used to form continuous runs for speed and multilevel configurations for climbing. The more shelves that are interconnected and the greater the angles between brackets, the higher the weight limit. Though optimal to install onto studs where possible, the weight limit ranges from 50 to over 100lbs off-stud using the provided wall anchors!
The curved shelves are ~10" deep once installed and ~1/2” thick unfinished birch plywood. Soft white, fully-bound, claw-friendly, cut pile carpet pads are included to provide comfort and traction. Custom colors are available for an additional charge.
The Swan incorporates the following curved shelves:
1 x 20" arc 1 x 32" swoop 1 x 32" arc, opening on right
The opening is approximately 10"x6".
Each kit can stand alone or be integrated with additional kits and add-on shelves
for an extended and expanded catscape.
All of the components can be assembled, disassembled, re-assembled, and replaced with an Allen key for easy cleaning, refreshing, and updating.
